Jane Asher has always been a natural connector who has enjoyed a successful career in media and the music industry, most notably at radio stations in San Diego and Santa Barbara, and Virgin Records based out of Chicago.
She developed The Next Room podcast. She interviews professionals and practitioners from diverse backgrounds about death, dying, grief, afterlife, and cultural traditions surrounding the journey we all must ultimately make. The show is available everywhere you find your favorite podcasts.
Her book, "The Next Room" is a story transcending space and time, of a relationship between mother and daughter that grew stronger through death. Written together, by initially enlisting interpretation through a psychic medium, The Next Room takes us on a daughter’s journey through learning eternal life lessons on forgiveness, grief, grace, gratitude, and the limitless love of all.
Born and raised in the Thumb of Michigan, just a stones throw away from the magnificent Lake Huron. Jane grew up sleeping under the stars in the summertime, and learned to drive in the field behind her home listening to Bob Seger. Her lifelong love affair with music blossomed into a career that has afforded her the great privilege of meeting and interviewing some of the most influential rock & roll artists on the planet. She is honored to be returning to her Michigan roots as a midday host on the brand new streaming app~The Sonic Coast.
Jane lives in San Diego with her husband, Tom. She is answering her passion-filled purpose by recording her podcast, writing, and of course, playing music.
